Section 508

The 508 Standards, which provide guidance for complying with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, apply to all electronic and information technology procured or created by a government entity, including institutions like Mizzou. The 508 Standards, in a final rule published in January 2017, now require all 508 institutions to conform to WCAG 2.0’s A and AA standards.
